One would think this is the reason why I've plunged myself head long into fountain pens, ink, and paper! But no, (hangs head in shame), this is a new one on me. I'm so glad to discover more and more wonderful things that advance the art of written correspondence.
Ready those nibs and cartridges! Approach your starting lines.... Go man GO!
A busy 'house season' this summer has kept me away. I currently have 10 letters on my desk awaiting my scribble! The autumn leaves have me scurrying around today... one of the last days in the 70ºs....to tidy up some outdoor project and chores.
Oh I wrote a few letters this summer,
but I was hard pressed to do them while
all of nature beckoned me outside.
I just got a letter from Algeria yesterday. That is motivation indeed! But I do respect my correspondents by answering them in order. I have 9 to get to before my new friend will hear from me. I better get cracking on my outdoor chores, but —I will write one letter today if it kills me!
Attend to your scribble supplies... soon it will be high scribble season!
Hello, I’m Nina, the maven behind the
IQS blog. I’m all about creativity (ya think?).
I work in several disciplines. So it's no surprise that the Art of Letter Writing would come knocking on my door. Smitten!
However, I did not want to simply add MailArt as a discipline to my website. Thus it became the IQS Blog within my site. And that is why there are TWO navigation menus. *Here’s a Tip: stick with the BLOG Menu in this Column. The main site menu will lead you astray into dark places where you will be screaming for help and no one will hear you.
